History of the Company

DR Garments was established 15 years ago. In that time the business has grown steadily with a partnership with Newlook. Over the last decade DR Garments has firmly established itself as a major player within the UK garment Industry. D&R is a privately owned company and is proud of the fact that, it has one of the most up-to-date manufacturing plants in the UK.

In the year 2000, it was decided to put further investment into the company. This was to be from one of the four sites situated in one street. The site was chosen and demolished and then rebuilt from scratch. The results of this have increased capacity and the expansion plans, which are all now in place.

The 100,000 square feet of manufacturing produces over 1,00,000 garments per week

DR Garments have a commitment to its customer base that they will supply garments of excellent quality, respond to the markets needs and be competitive in its pricing structure.

As a company we will continue to invest in all areas that require us to produce the best quality product and strive to do this in the most effective way.

The company has decided to implement major garments manufacturing plant in India, and select location in Porbandar (Gujarat State). This plant will be a largest garments manufacturing plant, having all latest garment technology and system, manufacturing capacity approx. 52 Lacs garments per year.
